OUR EXPERTISE

MARINE FABRICATION

A SPECIALIZED MARINE FABRICATION CAPABILITY DELIVERING CERTIFIED, GOVERNMENT-APPROVED STRUCTURAL AND PIPING FABRICATION FOR U.S. NAVY NEW CONSTRUCTION AND SHIP REPAIR.

Consolidated Marine Systems fabricates and installs new and renewed steel and aluminum structures across the vessel: bulkheads, internal framing and supports, tanks, underwater and freeboard voids, hull plating, foundations, and complete assemblies. We weld to our own NAVSEA, MARMC, and ABS-approved procedures, covering seven material types across four processes.

Wherever possible, work is built in a controlled shop environment as full assemblies or sub-assemblies, then transported to the vessel for installation. Doing the work in the shop reduces on-vessel time during tight availability windows, simplifies inspection, and lowers the risk of rework, sub-assemblies can be verified before they reach the ship. From custom piping components and structural supports through complete prefabricated assemblies, CMS owns quality, safety, and schedule from fabrication through final sign-off.

MARINE OUTFITTING

A SPECIALIZED MARINE OUTFITTING CAPABILITY DELIVERING CERTIFIED, GOVERNMENT-APPROVED SHEET METAL, HVAC, AND HABITABILITY WORK FOR U.S. NAVY NEW CONSTRUCTION AND SHIP REPAIR.

Consolidated Marine Systems fabricates and installs the systems and spaces that make a vessel functional and livable across the ship: sheet metal and ductwork, HVAC for crew comfort and equipment environment, and full habitability fitout including bunks, lockers, tables, desks, and built-in furniture. On a ship, everything is built in and bolted down rather than staged or dressed up, and CMS handles that work from fabrication through installation.

Wherever possible, sheet metal components and assemblies are built in a controlled shop environment, then transported to the vessel for installation. Doing the work in the shop reduces on-vessel time during tight availability windows, simplifies inspection, and lowers the risk of rework, components can be verified before they reach the ship. From shop-fabricated sheet metal and ductwork through complete habitability installations and repairs, CMS owns quality, safety, and schedule from fabrication through final sign-off.

MARINE PIPE FITTING

A SPECIALIZED MARINE PIPE FITTING CAPABILITY DELIVERING CERTIFIED, GOVERNMENT-APPROVED PIPING WORK FOR U.S. NAVY NEW CONSTRUCTION AND SHIP REPAIR.

Consolidated Marine Systems fabricates, installs, repairs, and replaces complete shipboard piping systems. Pipe fitting is where CMS started, and it remains a core competency across every major naval system: potable water, drainage and ballast, bilge suction, hydraulic, CHT, AFFF, fire main, service oil, deck drainage, steam, low- and high-pressure air, JP-5, and halon.

We own the outcome from spool fabrication through final quality sign-off, giving customers a single accountable point of contact rather than a crew to manage. Fabrication and spool work is done in a controlled shop environment wherever possible, reducing on-vessel time and scheduling conflicts during tight availability windows. Every system is delivered to NAVSEA and MARMC standards, backed by in-house NDT inspectors at Levels I through III and a filler metal control process that keeps welds within spec.

MARINE ELECTRICAL

A SPECIALIZED MARINE ELECTRICAL CAPABILITY DELIVERING CERTIFIED, GOVERNMENT-APPROVED CABLE INSTALLATION, TERMINATION, AND TESTING FOR U.S. NAVY NEW CONSTRUCTION AND SHIP REPAIR.

Consolidated Marine Systems installs, terminates, and tests complete shipboard electrical systems across the vessel: cable racks and trays, cable pull and banding, terminations to pumps, motors, lights, switchgear, and control panels, and the testing that confirms it all. On new construction, the work starts with a blank slate, thousands of cables running in bundles throughout the ship, and CMS handles every step from layout forward.

We verify our own installations in-house with IR&C testing for grounds and faults before any circuit is energized, and MCT packing and testing to seal cable penetrations through watertight and fire-rated bulkheads to naval specification. Wherever possible, cable runs are laid out and organized methodically to reduce rework and keep pace with tight availability windows. From cable rack layout through final energizing, CMS owns quality, safety, and schedule from installation through final sign-off.

MARINE WELDING

A SPECIALIZED MARINE WELDING SERVICE DELIVERING CERTIFIED, OSHA‑COMPLIANT, AND DEPLOYMENT‑READY WELDING PROFESSIONALS FOR GOVERNMENT AND COMMERCIAL SHIPYARDS.

Consolidated Marine Systems performs certified fabrication and shipboard welding across piping systems, structural components, and custom assemblies. We weld to our own NAVSEA, MARMC, and ABS-approved procedures, covering seven material types across four processes: GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW. At new construction yards, that means we arrive ready to work instead of certifying to the customer's procedures on arrival.

Our scope spans potable water and ballast piping, hull plating, bulkheads, foundations, and internal structure. Every welder is fully vetted, OSHA-compliant, and trained to Navy shipboard standards, backed by in-house NDT inspectors at Levels I through III who verify the work to specification. The result is reliable, on-time delivery on active and in-construction Navy vessels.
